Between California’s forced blackouts and the “bomb cyclone” winter storm that slammed into the United States last week, over one million American experienced a power outage this Fall season. The growing notion that we live in an era of extreme weather events during which power outages will become more frequent is boosting sales of backup generators in the US. No wonder Generac Holdings, a manufacturer in this space, has seen its sales volume triple and its share price nearly double this year.
